Where are my files stored?
On Cloudflare R2 — an S3-compatible object store with no egress fees and globally distributed read points. We never proxy your bytes through our servers on upload or download.
Who can see my files?
Only you and the people you explicitly share with. Each workspace is isolated at the database and storage layer. Admins can audit access; nobody at myfoldr browses your files.
Can I export everything?
Yes — one click gives you a zip of every file, plus a JSON manifest of folders, versions, and shares. GDPR erase is one click on the same page.
Do you have an API?
A typed TypeScript SDK and an MCP server, so your scripts and your AI agents can read, write, and search files with per-tenant scopes and rate limits.
Is this open source?
The core service is built on open standards (S3, OpenAPI, MCP). We plan to open source the SDK and reference clients once the API stabilizes.
